Chefs for the Day launched its new service in September 2002, brings an intimate dining experience to you in the comfort of your own home or work place. Chefs for the Day combines, with the finest of details, the culinary pleasure of a fine dining restaurant.

Chef Holmes, a native of South Carolina, moved to Georgia nine years after living in the New York Metro Area. He started his culinary career by attending the American Culinary Federation for three years. Chef Holmes has worked in the food service industry for the past nine years serving some of Atlanta's finest resturant. He has worked in such pristine dining clubs as the Georgian Club and the Asford Club. Chef Holmes worked at both of these clubs, simultaneously, to gain as much culinary knowledge as possible. After graduating from the American Culinary Federation in 1999, Chef Holmes secured a position as a Pastry Chef at the Vines Botanical Gardens where he continued to advance his culinary career. In 2000, Chef Holmes was promoted to Sous Chef at Little Gardens Restaurant, Vines Botanical Gardens Restaurant's sister property. In 2002, Chef Holmes was promoted to Executive Chef at Vines Botanical Gardens. In high demand from clients in the Atlanta and surrounding areas, Chef Holmes made an executive decision to operate “Chefs for the Day” on a full time basis in 2004.

Chef Holmes is excited by the opportunity to bring his culinary experience to his clients through the Chefs for the Day Service. Chef Holmes lives in Atlanta with his wife and son.
